We are here for Adoption!
by new boy ini was taking to grace (mouthy) on the phone today in canada.....what a sweetheart she truly is.. we have decided to put ourselfs out for adoption.
since i have lost family members because of being a jehovah's witness for 52 years and since many here have lost wifes, husbands, children, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, and of course friends.. we have decided to put ourselfs out for adoption...............grace told me today she would be happy to be your grandmother to all that would like to have a grandmother..........i would love to be a father to anyone who would like to have a father.........that no longer has one.. we have this to offer to all...........the most important thing a parent, grand parent or friend can offer their child, grandchild or friend........and that is, unconditional love to all.......you are all perfect.the love that real family members may have is conditional.......but true love never is.
we are here for you all.............and anyone else here on this board that would like to be a grandparent parent, father,mother, sister, brother or friend ............. please let all here know now.. as the italians say "familia"...........we are family!........we are here for adoption.

Ressurrection or Death.
by KAYTEE inmy wifes parents are 90 odd years of age, they are not jws .. if they die today, and armageddon comes next week, according to the witnesses they will receive a resurrection acts.24 v 15.. if they live until armageddon (next week) they will be destroyed by god .. in that 1-week they would not have changed their life stile one bit.. how can the society depict god in this way.. does that sought of thing not smack in the face of all common sense.?.

I often heard JWs (my parents included) say that they wished their ageing parents would die so that they could get a resurrection, rather than live longer and risk being destroyed at Armageddon!
Crazy, eh?
As a small child I would think "why would a loving god do this?"

My baby turned 5
by Es inhey all, hope you are all well.
well my little man is 5 and we had his birthday party on the weekend, our house was full with 40 people, and the backyard was filled with a jumping castle, we had helium balloon all over the house, it was awesome.. i cooked for three days straight and man was i tired by the end of the day, but it was great, i so wished i had of had the chance to celebrate bdays when i was a kid.. anyway heres the online album for you to look at.

All the very best with your plans JG. A book sounds like a great idea, as it gets things off your chest and can help open others' eyes, too.
I hope your dad doesn't shun you completely, but in reality that's usually what happens. Just do what you feel you have to in order to start healing.

JW Terminology
by KW13 inok guys, list the ones ya know.. the truth/truth = the truth according to jw's is their religion.
for example someone baptized as a jw is baptized in the truth, whereas someone baptized elsewhere is not.. new light/light = a better understanding of the current status quo or 'light' in general which is just knowledge, new light allows for a complete change in beliefs without exception.. god's word = mainly the bible but anything else published by the wbt tract society is also acceptable.. true christians = refers only to jehovah's witnesses or suitable examples from the bible.. apostates = anyone who has been a jehovah's witness who opposes their beliefs (not necessarily people or individuals) and shares how they feel about the watchtower bible and tract society with anyone.
a person who hasn't been a jehovah's witness but does clearly oppose their message and beliefs may also be referred to as an apostate.. experiences = stories that will upbuild and encourage jw's.

"My 'fleshly' sister/brother" as opposed to spiritual sister/brother.
